Characters P - T

Panda

Story - Xiaoyu's bodyguard and friend. She was cared for at Xiaoyu's school in China. When Xiaoyu moved to Japan for the third Iron Fist Tournament, Heihachi taught Panda to fight like he did with Kuma, so she can act as Xiaoyu's bodyguard. Kuma is in love with her, but she dislikes him. Just as Kuma is loyal to Heihachi, Panda would do anything to keep Xiaoyu happy.

Rating - 3/10. It's enough that we have Kuma. I still prefer the bears to the Jacks, though.

Paul Phoenix

Story - A legendary undefeated fighter and good friend of Marshall Law. Paul is a bum whose sole purpose in life is to prove that he's the world's strongest fighter. He has been a regular competitor of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, but something always came up in each tournament he participated that prevents him from winning. He almost won in T3 after defeating Ogre. Instead, he left the tournament with pride and feeling victorious. When Ogre morphed into True Ogre, the tournament continued without him, ending with Jin Kazama defeating and killing the beast. Gradually, people's respect for him begin to decline and he's forced to enter the succeeding Iron Fist Tournaments with Marshall (who's also broke) just to survive. During T4, he loss to Kuma (Aahahahaha...) and thus begins a rivalry with the bear. Paul and Marshall also appeared in another Namco game, Urban Reign.

Rating - 3/10. Okay, he's been around since the first installment, but come on! He's become a stale, pathetic, lameass loser. It's about time they create a successor for Paul and let him "retire".

Prototype Jack

Story - A prototype of Jack, created to combat Jack and Jack-2. He was destroyed by Jack-2 in the second tournament. Prototype Jack is the only model that has gasoline as his blood instead of plutonium like the rest of the Jacks.

Rating - 3/10. He gets one extra point for being the best Jack.

Raven

Story - One of the most skilled agents of a certain government intelligence agency. 'Raven' is his codename, and other than the x-shaped scar on his face, little is known about him. He was on a mission to investigate connections between the Mishima Zaibatsu and the G Corporation where he witnesses Heihachi Mishima being attacked by Jacks. After wards, he decides to join the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 to gather intelligence about the tournament and the motives of those behind it.

Rating - 0/10. This guy takes my cake for being the lamest character Namco ever thought out. And his ending is the gayest, waste of high-resolution graphics.

Roger

Story - A fighting kangaroo made by Dr. B for the same purpose as Alex. After the second Iron Fist Tournament, Jun arranged for both of them to live the rest of their lives in Australia.

Rating - 0/10. What the hell?! It's a frickkin' kangaroo!!

Roger Jr.

Story - When Roger was kidnapped before T5, his son enters the tournament to save him. Aided by his mother, Roger Jr. found out that the reason his dad was "kidnapped" was so he could watch TV for the rest of his life.

Rating - 0.1/10. No comments.

Sergei Dragunov

Story - A member of a Russian special force, he is known for his efficiency and cruelty in combat. He was part of an army geological survey team which discovered a rare ancient artifact in the Siberian waste. The team manages to find a link between the object and the Mishima bloodline, specifically Jin Kazama and his devil gene. They appointed Dragunov with the task of capturing Jin Kazama for further study.

Rating - 7/10. An intriguing newcomer! Sure hope to see more of this guy.

Steve Fox

Story - Nina's son who was conceived through in-vitro fertilization. Steve attended Oxford University where he studied biology before becoming a professional boxer. He became middleweight champion, and had everything he wanted, except knowledge of his biological parents or the origin of the scar on his arm. He fled to America after winning a fight he was supposed to lose because the mafia was after him. In hopes of gaining some clues about his past, he entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. Although he didn't win, Steve befriends Lei Wulong, who was trying to bring down the crime syndicate that was after him and learned that Nina Williams is his mother. Two months later, when the fifth tournament was announced, Steve entered with the aim of destroying the Mishima Zaibatsu after learning about their involvement in his conception. He wants to make sure the Zaibatsu would never made such mistake again.

Rating - 8/10. At last, a boxer who's not an ugly and dumb crook!

Tetsujin

Story - A metal training dummy. Like his wooden counterpart, Mokujin, Tetsujin was brought to life by evil powers. He has yet to appear as a character outside of Tekken Tag Tournament. In T5, he is sort of a "punching bag" in practice mode. It is very likely that his appearance is not canonical.

Rating - 0/10. One more pointless character.

Tiger Jackson

Story - Eddy's friend or alter-ego. Nothing much is known about Tiger, except he has disco fever. It's possible that Eddy has disco fever but is afraid to admit it, so he disguises himself as Tiger when he visit retro-themed dance clubs.

Rating - 1/10. Yet another pointless character who exits for the sake of variety.

True Ogre

Story - Ogre's perfect form. Ogre now has the ability to fly, spit fire and teleport. Jin killed him to avenge his mother at the end of T3. Jin encountered him again in Devil Within, the T5 mini game chronicling Jin's actions during the two months between T4 and T5. Although it implies that Ogre was revived by the G Corporation, it is still unknown whether or not the side story is canon. It is also implied throughout the storyline that Ogre might have a deep connection to the Devil Gene that Kazuya and Jin possessed.

Rating - 1/10. At least he can fly and blows fire!
